Expert Review of the Public and Patient Involvement (PPI) in the NIHR Mental Health Research Network
Posted 28 January 2011
In November 2010, the way that the MHRN involves users and carers was reviewed by Dr Edvard Beem of the Netherlands Organisation for Health Research and Development, and Dr Frederick J Frese, an American psychologist who has personal experience of mental health problems. The two reviewers met with a wide range of people with experience of mental health problems, carers, researchers, and MHRN staff and this report has been produced.
